Inspiration on the Trailhead

The 10-foot shipping container has been transformed into a functional space for park staff to assist trail visitors while staying protected from the elements. It includes climate control, a covered area for interacting with guests and solar power to help support its operation. Even the dark green exterior is intentional, allowing the structure to blend into the natural surroundings.

This is a great example of how thoughtful design can provide needed infrastructure with a relatively small impact on the environment.

Arkansas has an incredible and growing network of trails, parks, outdoor recreation spaces and outfitters. As those destinations and businesses grow, so does the need for practical infrastructure that supports staff and visitors while preserving the character of the places they serve. For some of Arkansas's most treasured wild spaces, custom container infrastructure can offer a sustainable, low-impact approach to meeting those needs.

With 30 years of experience and a skilled in-house fabrication team, HHMS builds custom container infrastructure that can bring concepts like this to life. From trailhead offices and ranger stations to visitor information centers and other support facilities, each container can be designed around the needs of its location, with features such as climate control, covered spaces and exterior finishes that complement the surrounding environment.

Hugg & Hall Mobile Storage is excited about the continued growth of Arkansas' outdoor economy and tourism industry and the opportunity to support the communities, organizations and businesses helping make that growth possible.
