However, to maintain their structural integrity and ensure their longevity, shipping containers require proper, regular maintenance.

External Maintenance
Inspect the exterior for signs of damage
Repair dents and rust spots
Clean the exterior regularly to prevent the buildup of dirt and debris
Paint or coat the exterior to prevent corrosion
Internal Maintenance
Check for signs of water damage and leaks
Inspect the insulation for signs of damage or mold growth
Clean the interior regularly to prevent the buildup of dust and debris
Check the flooring for signs of wear and tear
Mechanical Maintenance
Lubricate the hinges, locks, and door seals regularly
